Re: dragon legs

We had a Satyr at the Halloween party that looked like he must have been using stilts like that. I'm not very good with names though so I don't know who to direct you to.

Re: Post Halloween Clean Up - AKA put your shit away!

I went and cleaned up the webbing from the plants in front. I also unstaked the 'dead body', which is now completely water logged having rained in addition to multiple dewy mornings.

There are still quite a few Halloween objects and signs in the front area and candle bags in the entryway.

Re: Hard Drive Data Recovery

I'd suggest running Spin Rite against the drive. I listen to Steve's "Security Now" podcast on TWiT. There have been many amazing stories about drives being recovered with this.

Re: forum update

Aside, I have no idea what the actual board default was before or why it borked. I just discovered I can set myself back to using the RedSilver template which is what I considered default before and it looks to me like it works just fine.

Re: forum update

You really had me freaked out for a minute. I though we lost everything and this was a stock reinstall of phpbb until I saw that threads were still here.

Re: Give to the Max Day 2011 - November 16th

Well I made my shot at an off hour donation, trying for the $1000 bonus.

Anywho. At the time of typing I see the bar at $3,250 raised of $5,000 goal.

Did all of that happen today?! or is that a year to date sort of thing? I'm hoping the former

Re: New maker space in town

And I'd like to thank you and everyone else who's been working with legal to get us there.

I'm going to go explore my options on getting a matched donation, through Springboard, from my employer before the year is out. 7% be damned it'll still double the spending power of my dollars ;)

Re: New maker space in town

If that's the case, this needs to be publicized a hell of a lot more.

I didn't think there was any way yet to take advantage of my employers donation matching program for instance. And if we can pull off something like what Riley was talking about but through Springboard, even better.
