Re: Possible musician for the fair.

Yeah, he's great! I saw him last winter. I think it was his premiere show. He just had the 2 Wiimotes at the time, but he was getting some great sound. If he was selling CDs at the Minne Faire, I'd sure buy one.

Cheap Van de Graaff domes

Just in case anyone might be thinking of making a Van de Graaff generator soon, this is an ideal season to find a cheap dome. Maybe.... Now that the holidays are almost done, many stores that have been stocking "ornaments" filled with candy or cookies will be discounting them. (I have a hu...

Hack Factory Friendly Reminder

The dumpster outside the Hack Factory isn't actually ours, it's really our landlord's. The dumpster has apparently been used sometimes for dumping more than garbage. Re: Wall of Success?

I used to work in a frameshop, and on the big jumbo sized table with the mat cutter, we'd have some heavy illustration board or backing board taped down. It was handy for cleaning glass, cutting matboard, paper, etc., but we also doodled on it. We went through a couple boards (which looked very cool...

Hot Tub Prop Party Saturday 1/23

Hello Everyone, I'm a member of The RPF, The Replica Prop Forum. The RPF is for people who have a sort of unhealthy fascination with replica movie props. Some people buy the official licensed mass produced stuff, and some people make their own from whatever they can find or scrounge or churn o...
