In talking to George about the sandblaster. Just want others to know. SAND is the last thing you want to use in a sand blaster. the name is problematic. in the olden days people used sand, but then respiratory issues came up. Sand has free silica in it. when breathed in, causes a condition called silicosis. Free silica basically hooks into your lungs and it cant be removed, its a permanent condition and can cause serious health issues. I.E. SAND = BAD STUFF. The ground glass I have in it, is inert and contains no free silica. Though I'd suggest using a face mask anytime you are around a blaster.

Also to note, forge material has free silica, and care needs to be taken when you mix up any refractory. or use the more expensive concoinal silica which is ball shaped not hook shaped.
