Red Hot Art festival is an event that takes place annually in Stevens Square Park. Anyone interested in running a booth to help promote the organization at this year's fest.

Red Hot Art is taking place on Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st. This is our tenth year of the festival, and we're expecting to have up to 100 participating artist vendors, 28 bands playing on two stages, and food vendors, as well as local organizations hosting booths in the park. Booth spaces are 10'x10' ... free for the whole weekend if you can offer a hands-on activity. The website for this event is www.redhotart.org.

Now this is the same weekend a few of us would be at Detroit Maker Faire so we would need someone to spearhead this!

We need to have a response in the next couple days because they are trying to do the space planning.

we're also already committed to a table at the red stag block party on the 31st, and need bodies to work that.

Conclusion is we won't be at this event. We can try again next year.
