I am new to TC Makers and would like help moving my CNC Router into the Hack Factory. I will happily get a U-haul truck but need some people to help carry it out of my garage, to the truck, and into the the HF. It will probably take 3 more strong people to move it. I would like to do this as soon as possible, but I understand that I will be working around others schedules. To sweeten the deal I will provide some beer and pizza to celebrate the new addition! I am currently looking for employment, so my schedule is basically wide open.
About the machine: It is has a cutting surface of 48"x48" and is made from a kit called Joe's Hybrid 4x4
. I did not build the machine so my knowledge is limited, but I am learning and would like to build one from scratch some day. I have software from Vectric and run Mach3 for the controller. The images below show the overall size of the machine, but it is NOT on that base anymore. I had to cut it directly below the bed to get it up to St. Paul. So it will have to sit on the ground till I design a new base. I will be looking for a good welder in the future, just a heads up.
About me: I am from Central Illinois and just moved to St. Paul to be with my girlfriend which attends the U of M. I have a background in architecture and design. I am interested in many design projects, including furniture, and have strong skills in CAD. I am also very interested in the power of collaborative art projects and how CNC technology can be very beneficial to "Design+Build" projects.
WHO WANTS TO HELP ME OUT??????
