Yesterday I put a Weller Soldering Station w/650 deg. pencil on the shelf above the electronics bench. I am leaving it on long-term loan with the proviso that in the event I teach an offsite LED Hoop class I will remove it for that duration.

I know we already have a bunch of assorted irons and stations (and more on the way?) so, in the event this one is surplus to needs I'll take it back. Both components are labeled RiggerJeff and with my email address so please advise if you want it "gone".

Note that the pencil isn't technically a correct fit for this station--the lead won't "lock" in place--but to the best of my knowledge the setup works fine and the pencil has a relatively fine tip that is (currently) in good condition. It's previous owners were both more fastidious than I.

see, fine tips is one of those things I know nothing about.

If it'd still be of use, then Don't bring it home.
