I have been talking to some of you at the HF about my "Hand shaping and Fabrication of artistic metalwork (with a Hammer)". I am hoping to start the class off with a "Build your own English wheel" project. I am locating parts and assembly items and will have prices for parts packages and a cut list for 3 types of frame and footing styles. How many people would be interested in Having their own English wheel"? With the caveat that: the Board may be paying for parts for a Group owned English wheel. It would become property of the HF and would (I assume) be available for anyone to use there.
I am hoping to have the first class the first Fri evening in February.
feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts.

Still searching for a supplier for the flat faced and radius faced bearings to get a price quote. Any help locating or dealing with a vendor will speed up this happening.
Come to learn how.. buy a parts kit and come to build yours along with me. Just show up cause English wheels are cool and you want to learn about them..... As soon as I can make it happen
Now I have not looked but both Ambel Hardware and Tull Berring is on Washington Ave just north of Broadway. Tull is a manufacturing company, but I see a will call door, so they must sell locally and in smaller quantity.
