Hillel Jewish Community Center will be hosting Treasured Trash: Art Contest and Exhibition. This competition/exhibition hopes to motivate young artists to use their creativity and their trash to create a piece of fine art.
Where: Hillel Jewish Community Center, U of M campus
When: March 1st, 5-8 pm
What: Food, live music by local trio "The Hummingbirds," and PRIZES (cash up to $150!)
Entries must be made from recycled materials and items that would otherwise be destined for the trash. Anyone, student or non-student, is welcome to create a piece of art.
All submissions must be dropped off at Hillel, ready for display by February 20, 2011 by 4:00 PM.
