Really want to do this, but it would probably mean not being able to do Open Hack -- not that I can make it all that often anyway.

Hey guys (err, folks) we're in the process of a major cleanup organization of the classroom, kitchen, electronics bench, computer "lab" and audio space. #Whew#--bet you see the problem already. To that end, it would be helpful if someone with "ownership" (interest? experience? a stake?) in the electronics benches stepped up to clean and organize them and the area around them. I can do it, but you may not like my ill-considered, heavy-handed, deadline-driven approach. We have an outside group meeting in the space on Thursday, Sept. 29 and I have a vested interest in having the room clean, safe and presentable. Your understanding, help and cooperation would be appreciated. Jeff, (also "speaking" for Smittex, McSteve and the others who have been busting butt (much more than I) to make this happen.) --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=44.969403,-93.508736

Tbh, I'm a little skittish with the existing electronics equipment on the south wall of the classroom. I've never used any of it and don't have a clue (without looking) who it belongs to.
I've been packing my things in and out as I need them, including my own iron.
I'd be interesting in helping to clean if directed to a specific task but I'm extremely leery about moving things around without knowing whats going on. </anxiety>
@Wammie I don't know about 'official' times yet. I'm just kinda running with what Paul started last week.

Pyro--my concerns exactly. However, if I've vacated before you all arrive tonight, please spread the word. If *nobody* steps up (after due diligence) than nobody should have grounds to complain if you or I take action "next week". Rgds and respect! I really wish my Monday nights were open, I'd love to take part in this.
I've never soldered, and there's a lot of projects I have in mind that would benefit from being around y'all.
This is something that really does want to get on the calendar, as well as in the next newsletter.
If someone (Paul? Pyro?) could should me some text about it, I'll get it in the newsletter.
fun fun!

I missed the second one, but the wife assures me that next Monday she will not find something for me to do, so I will be there with my Radio Shack project book and a bunch of parts..
