The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.

While we're built on do-ocracy, we also have a duty to protect our community and our space. That means we won't allow illegal or unsafe activities, but it also means talking to others before making changes you can't undo easily, or that might affect a lot of people.

It also means decision by consensus – but that sometimes we have to make a few people unhappy for the good of the larger organization.
